Antis Triantafyllides & Sons LLC assists with the acquisition of a portfolio of non-performing loans exceeding €2.0 billion
Our firm acted on behalf of a global alternative investment firm in acquiring a Cypriot portfolio of non-performing loans and real estate properties (the “Portfolio”) with a total gross book value of more than €2.0 billion from a credit institution in Cyprus.
During this transaction, which was concluded in June 2023, our firm reviewed and advised on the SPA and the Scheme of Arrangement as well as on regulatory matters with respect to the acquisition of the credit acquiring company. Our firm also carried out a legal due diligence review of the finance and collateral documents of a sample of the Portfolio and has prepared a legal due diligence red flag report.
