Came into force: 1 January 2008. - Directive 2007/63/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 November 2007 amending Council Directives 78/855/EEC and 82/891/EEC as regards the requirement of an independent expert’s report on the occasion of merger or division of public limited liability companies, was transposed into Cap.113 pursuant to Companies (Amending) Law, (No.2) Law of 2009, L.49(I)/2009 and published in the Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus on 15/05/2009, Issue 4205.
