Document Checklist for the Cyprus Investment Programme  
Documents required for citizenship application of main applicant and spouse:
  1. Original M127 Application Form.
  2. Original Birth Certificate.
  3. True Copy of passport.
  4. Original Certificate of Clean Criminal Record from the country of origin which must be less than 3 months old.
  5. Original Certificate of Clean Criminal Record from the country of residence, if different from the country of origin, which must be less than 3 months old.
  6. Original Marriage Certificate / Civil Partnership Certificate.
  7. Two passport size photographs.
  8. Curriculum Vitae.
  9. Self-Declaration by the applicant who has received services for the purposes of the Cyprus Investment Programme duly completed and signed by the applicant.
  10. Due Diligence Report issued through an internationally accepted database ensured through a subscription (e.g. World Check, LexisNexis Diligence, Regulatory DataCorp Inc. etc).
  11. Original affidavit/declaration by the applicant with respect to any citizenship applications he/she may have submitted in any other EU member state.
  12. Copy of valid Schengen Visa
 
NOTE: All the documents issued by a foreign authority should be translated to either Greek or English and be duly authenticated as follows:
  1. If the documents are issued by countries which have signed the Hague Convention, they should be apostilled.
 If the documents are issued by countries that have not signed the Hague Convention, they should be sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Cyprus in the issuing country. Following that, the documents have to be certified by the Department of Certifications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus.
 
NOTE: The M127 Application Form and the Affidavit/Declaration have to be signed in the presence of a Judge or Registrar or Consular Officer at the Cypriot embassy in any country.
 
1. Residence in the Republic of Cyprus:
  1. Contract of Sale.
  2. Title Deeds or Proof of Registration of the contract with the Lands and Surveys Department.
  3. Proof of payment of the agreed purchase price.
  4. Copy of the wire transfer to a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the seller or the seller’s company.
  5. Town planning permit (if applicable).
  6. Declaration by mortgaged lender (bank waiver) (if applicable)
  7. Completion certificate or performance bank guarantee (if applicable). 
2. Investment Options:
A. Investment in real estate, land development and infrastructure projects
  1. Contract of sale.
  2. Title Deeds or Proof of Registration of the contract with the Lands and Surveys Department.
  3. Proof of payment of the agreed purchase price.
  4. Copy of the wire transfer to a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the seller or the seller’s company.
  5. Specific investment plan for the development of purchased land under development (if applicable).
  6. Town planning permit (if applicable).
  7. Declaration by mortgaged lender (bank waiver) (if applicable)
  8. Completion certificate or performance bank guarantee (if applicable). 
B. Investment in financial assets of Cypriot companies or Cypriot organizations
  1. Contract of sale or Investment Agreement.
  2. Proof of payment of the agreed purchase price.
  3. Certificate of shareholders by the Registrar of Companies.
  4. Copy of the wire transfer to a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the company or the organization.
  5. Specific investment plan.
  6. Copies of the employment contracts of the Cypriot or European Union citizens employed by the company in which the applicant has invested.
  7. Confirmation from the Social Insurance Department as to the insurable income of the Cypriot or European Union citizens employed in the company.
  8. Registration Certificate (MEU1) or Permanent Registration Certificate of Union Citizen (MEU3) for employees that are European Union citizens.
C. Investment in Alternative Investment Funds or Registered Alternative Investment Funds or financial assets of Cypriot companies or Cypriot organizations that are licensed by CySec:
  1. Title/Titles and other relevant documents of the financial assets / units purchased.
  2. Copy of the wire transfer to a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the company or the organization.
  3. Specific investment plan.
  4. Confirmation by the CySec.
D. Donation to the Research and Innovation Foundation or investment in  eligible enterprises or eligible Cyprus companies and donation to the Cyprus Development Corporation:
  1. Copy of the wire transfer of the donation to the Research and Innovation Foundation to an account in a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the Foundation.
  2. Copy of the wire transfer of the donation to the Cyprus Land Development Corporation to an account in a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the Corporation.
  3. Innovative enterprise certificate (if applicable).
  4. Contract of sale or Investment Agreement in a Cypriot company or companies (if applicable).
  5. Proof of payment of the agreed amount.
  6. Certificate of shareholders by the Registrar of Companies (if applicable).
  7. Copy of the wire transfer to a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the company or organisation (if applicable).
  8. Specific investment plan (if applicable).
  9. Copies of the employment contracts of the Cypriot or European Union citizens employed by the company in which the applicant has invested (if applicable).
  10. Confirmation from the Social Insurance Department as to the insurable income of the Cypriot or European Union citizens employed in the company (if applicable).
  11. Registration Certificate (MEU1) or Permanent Registration Certificate of Union Citizen (MEU3) for employees that are European Union citizens (if applicable).
