Antis Triantafyllides & Sons involved in the privatization of the OPAP Group
Antis Triantafyllides & Sons acted for Emma Delta Ltd (an international collective investment fund registered in Cyprus) and its subsidiary companies in a Euro 622 million transaction with respect to the acquisition of 33% of OPAP S.A., as part of the OPAP Group’s privatization, the leading gaming operator in the Greek market and the exclusive operator of numerous land based numerical lottery games and land based sports betting games under its concession. The firm’s role consisted of (a) advice on the fund structure and any fund regulatory approvals; (b) advice on the financing of the acquisition through both the fund structure and the issuance of notes by Emma Delta Ltd subsidiary company; and (c) drafting, negotiating and advising on the Cyprus security documents with respect to the notes issuance.
