INVESTMENT REQUIREMENTS
The minimum investment required for a Cyprus passport is:

(1) A residential property of €500,000 to be kept indefinitely and;

(2) A further investment of €1.5 million in residential property to be kept for 3 years.
This amount is increased to €2 million if the investment is not exclusively in residential property.

BUY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY
The applicant purchases residential property in Cyprus with a minimum value of €500,000 (net of VAT).

 
CHOOSE INVESTMENT
This investement should either be a residential unit/units of €1.5 million or another investment in the Cypriot economy of €2 million.

 
SUBMIT APPLICATION
The necessary citizenship application documents, accompanied by an Immigration Permit application, are submitted to the Ministry of Interior. The Immigration Permit will be issued within five (5) working days of submitting the application.

 
OBTAIN CITIZENSHIP
The naturalization certificate and Cyprus passport will be issued within six (6) months from the issuance of the Immigration Permit.

An applicant’s spouse and any dependents below the age of 28 can obtain citizenship/Cypriot passport without having to satisfy any further investment criteria.
